The Historic Gatlinburg Inn has been designated a Tennessee Music Pathways destination for its role in Tennessee’s music history. The legendary Tennessee state song, Rocky Top, was written here by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant in 1967 in Room 388, a room we now call the Rocky Top Room (which is available for reservations).The Historic Gatlinburg Inn is a songwriting mecca that is still visited by some of the top songwriters to this day for inspiration.
